What is "F☆☆☆☆"?

F☆☆☆☆ (F four stars) represents a grade for emission levels of causative hazardous substances, such as formaldehyde, that cause building sick syndrome. The levels are graded according to the number of stars by JIS (Japan Industrial Standards Committee), JAS (Japan Agricultural Standard) or the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation.
Products with F☆☆☆☆ is classified as the highest grade with containing the lowest levels of hazardous substance emission, suggesting that these products can be used without the restriction under the Building Standard Law.

The highest grade of F☆☆☆☆ products that are not subjected to the use area limit

Asahi WoodTech products F☆☆☆☆ compatible

Products with F☆☆☆☆ grade are classified as "unregulated" building material due to the smallest amount of formaldehyde emission.
Asahi WoodTech implemented the performance of F☆☆☆☆ for all subjected products.
*The judgment of emission classification of formaldehyde is based on the JAS·JIS standard, certification by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, by the display registration on the Japan Building Materials Industry Church.

Since we want customers to enjoy the texture of natural wood with confidence for a long time, Live Natural Premium has been aiming to improve the air environment of the living space. By repeatedly refining the manufacturing method, the amount of formaldehyde emission was much lower than the standard value of F☆☆☆☆. In addition, the emission rate of 4 VOC (toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, styrene) also achieves a high level of air environment conscious performance far below the standard value of the voluntary labeling system.
